There are five major types of companies in Bulgaria:

  • Limited Liability Company (GmbH);
  • Single-Member Limited Liability Company (UG);
  • Joint Stock Company (JSC);
  • General and Limited Partnerships;
  • Sole Proprietors.

At Magna Corporate Management, we advise our clients to establish a GmbH or UG because:

  • The minimum required capital is €1, which must be deposited in a local bank;
  • The shareholder/s is only liable with the company’s share capital;
  • Business owners can use a virtual office service as the headquarters of their company;
  • There are no annual fees for keeping the company’s incorporation.
We need two to three days to prepare the necessary paperwork (bilingual texts included). Once all documents are ready, signed, and certified, and a bank account is open, we have one business day (the legal deadline) to register the new company at the Commercial Register.
